What is the service-level agreement (SLA) for AmqpHosting?
We guarantee at least 99% availability on all plans except the Petite plan. Lost time will be refunded back to your account at the hourly rate incurred. Request of refund must be submitted in writing, within 30 days from the outage to which they refer, via email to email@example.com
Which protocols do you support?
The Rex plan supports both AMQP and AMQPS whereas the other plans support AMQP See the pricing page for more.
Does AmqpHosting support AMQPS(TLS/SSL)?
SSL/https is enabled on the rabbitmq management interface for all plans. AMQPS is however only available on the Rex plan
. In most clients is it easy to use AMQPS, just replace amqp:// with amqps:// in the URL and change the port from 5672 to 5671.
If you are using another library to connect to your rabbitMQ broker please consult the library's documentation,
for example if you use celery; see this guide on how to configure celery with ssl.
Are any of the plans rate limited in any way?
What do you mean by dedicated and shared nodes/instances?
Shared nodes is when more than one rabbitMQ application(vhost) are setup in the same server. Dedicated nodes is when only one rabbitMQ application is setup per server. All our plans are on dedicated nodes. Note, a dedicated server does not mean a bare metal server.
Is everything included in the price?
Yes, everything is included in the price. There is no extra cost or payment required for data traffic/bandwidth from or to other platforms.
How and when will I get billed?
All plans are billed by the minute. For example if you have the $20/month plan running for 15 days, then you will only be charged $10
Billing occurs at the end of each month, and you are only charged for the time a server has been available to you.
How does the 14 day free trial work?
After you signup you get access to all the features in your chosen plan.
You'll be up and running in under 15 minutes.
You will not be billed unless you choose to continue with us after the 14 days.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. You pay month-to-month and you can cancel at any time. There are no cancellation fees or other hidden fees.
What payment methods do you support?
Currently we only support payments via paypal. We will add other payment methods in the near future.

Which version of rabbitMQ will I get?
You will always get the latest stable rabbitMQ version that is available at the time you are creating your rabbitMQ server.
